The most important input in daily life, energy consumption, is always rising as a result of the expansion of the global population and technological advancement. The transportation sector, which is responsible for about half of all global emissions, is converting to cutting-edge, renewable energy-powered equipment. The current study deals with an alternative solution for the exchange of exhaustible energy sources with a hybrid renewable energy. In terms of achieving smart city aim, the electrical energy requirement of Kayseri municipality's public transportation by tram was targeted. It was intended that a hybrid system including renewable energy sources was installed so that it compensated this electrical energy demand. Following that, the intended a hybrid system was erected on land surface in Kayseri province. HOMER Pro Software was utilized for simulation purposes. Additionally, with their consent, the necessary data was ensured from Kayseri Transportation Company.
